Retro Glamping Caravan and Annex that sleeps 2 people

Glamping Getaways at Kanasta Caravan Park

Peggy Sue and Mary Jane were our “test” Retro Glampers.  We were unsure if the public would like experiencing glamping, especially in style! After receiving such good feedback from our wonderful guests, we continued to grow our fleet.

Originally Mary Jane was painted in brown and white. We had a big job ahead of us to get her where she is today.

Mary Jane sleeps 2 people comfortably. She is a real show stopper as illustrated in the photos.

  • Sleeps 2 comfortably with her double bed inside the caravan.
  • Massive fold out couch that sleeps another 2 people easily (please enquire).
  • Large living area with lovely outlook near the outdoor furniture.
  • TV/DVD in the lounge area.
  • A further two separate single beds suitable for children inside the caravan.
  • Gorgeous seating area inside the caravan close to the kitchen.
  • Black and white checkered flooring.
  • Turquoise feature wall with gorgeous felt rug on display.
  • Large fridge for food storage for the longer stays.
  • Mary Jane comes equipped with a microwave, cutlery and crockery.

Our Retro Glampers

More info about our Mary Jane….

Mary Jane is a part of our larger Retro Glamping fleet as she offers a Caravan and Annex combined. This means you have a lot of room inside as the photos illustrate.

When you enter Mary Jane via the sliding door of the annex, you will notice the black and white checkered flooring, the gorgeous turquoise feature wall with the luxury queen size bed. The bed head features a hand made felt blanket locally sourced from Blue Mini in Rosebud. The colours all blend together beautifully bringing out her vintage glory.

When you enter into the caravan section, you will notice her mint and turquoise colouring everywhere possible. We had the curtains and cushions handmade to match the turquoise theme. In the caravan section, you will also find a seating area with the original dining table and bench seats. The kitchen sits besides this and comes complete with a fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery. In addition, the corner boasts a gorgeous little day bed or seating area.

She also has an outdoor seating area where you can kick back and enjoy some beverages under the shady trees at Kanasta Caravan Park. Mary Jane is a park favourite, in particular favoured by Rod who patiently painted and restored her back to her former glory.

5 minutes walk from the Rye boat launching ramp, cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs/clubs and safe swimming beaches.
